Hello there. This is the first post on my blog. I'm kicking it off with a short one just to get things set up. Let's get going, I guess. I already write a lot in my private journal but this won't be like that.
So what's been happening? Well, I didn't have Internet for over a week. It was pretty shitty. I had managed to download a few YouTube videos and Netflix shows so I had a few things to watch. I found ways to keep entertained so it wasn't horrific. It just meant I couldn't work on a lot of things. I had to cancel my online therapy appointment. I really needed it this week too. :( I also couldn't work on my website or get this blog up and running despite reeeallly wanting to. But I'm here now! It's just after 11pm and I really should be getting some sleep. Instead, I am sat here clacking away listening to 'Love me again' by V (of BTS). I'll probably mess around on here for a few more minutes then do my bedtime routine.

My bedtime routine:

  1. Tidy my bed and arrange my blankets, pillows, and teddies
  2. Fill up my water bottle
  3. Put my watch on charge
  4. Cover my face in facewash
  5. Go to the toilet
  6. Brush my teeth
  7. Scrub, rinse, and dry my face
  8. Say goodnight to my children
  9. Take medication and sometimes melatonin
  10. Put on all my toners, serums, creams, treatments, etc
  11. Find a calm activity to do for half an hour or so. This can be watching something, reading, crocheting, journaling, listening to musis, etc.
  12. Put my watch back on
  13. Open up my sleep tracking app to set my alarm and start tracking
  14. Finally, I snuggle into bed and try to sleep
