Hello there. This is the first post on my blog. I'm kicking it off with a short one just to get things set up. Let's get going, I guess. I already write a lot in my private journal but this won't be like that.
So what's been happening? Well, I didn't have Internet for over a week. It was pretty shitty. I had managed to download a few YouTube videos and Netflix shows so I had a few things to watch. I found ways to keep entertained
so it wasn't horrific. It just meant I couldn't work on a lot of things. I had to cancel my online therapy appointment. I really needed it this week too. :( I also couldn't work on my website or get this blog up and running despite reeeallly wanting to. But I'm here now! It's just after 11pm and I really should be getting some sleep. Instead, I am sat here clacking away listening to 'Love me again' by V (of BTS). I'll probably mess around on here for a few more minutes then do my bedtime routine.
My bedtime routine:
- Tidy my bed and arrange my blankets, pillows, and teddies
- Fill up my water bottle
- Put my watch on charge
- Cover my face in facewash
- Go to the toilet
- Brush my teeth
- Scrub, rinse, and dry my face
- Say goodnight to my children
- Take medication and sometimes melatonin
- Put on all my toners, serums, creams, treatments, etc
- Find a calm activity to do for half an hour or so. This can be watching something, reading, crocheting, journaling, listening to musis, etc.
- Put my watch back on
- Open up my sleep tracking app to set my alarm and start tracking
- Finally, I snuggle into bed and try to sleep
