Meerca (circa 2014)

Man, I don't know what is going on here. This is when I started actually getting back into art after many years of not doing anything. I sat in the conservatory with music on and just went for it. I find this piece simultaneously cringe and endearing. I think I was working some things out in my head about my past experiences whilst also just being silly. I also don't know what I used. Probably the same old Derment Inktense pencils and Prismacolor pencils. There's definetly some Uni-ball Signo white gel pen in there and there might even be some watercolor.

p.s. being that I was thinking about my past whilst doing this, I had to include a red Meerca. (It turned out looking more pink) That was the first pet I had on Neopets way back in the day. So silly! haha!
